These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and RSC (Reconciliation Services Company), the operator of recon-X ("we," "us," or "our"). By registering for, accessing, or using the recon-X platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
If you are accessing recon-X on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
You agree to use recon-X only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Your data is yours. You retain full ownership of all financial data, ledger files, and documents you upload to recon-X. By uploading data, you grant RSC a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the reconciliation service to you.
We do not use your financial data for training AI models, advertising, or any purpose other than delivering the service you have contracted for.
recon-X is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to:
All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Taxes such as GST apply as per applicable Indian law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
For managed service engagements, cancellation terms are defined in your service agreement. Contact support@recon-x.in to initiate cancellation.
All intellectual property in the recon-X platform — including software, AI models, algorithms, UI design, branding, and documentation — is owned by RSC. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the platform.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the recon-X platform without our prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RSC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of recon-X — including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
recon-X is a tool to assist reconciliation. We do not guarantee the accuracy of reconciliation outputs. You are responsible for reviewing all reconciliation results before acting on them.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RSC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to recon-X at any time for the following reasons:
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We will retain your data in accordance with our data retention policy and applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or platform notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
